International badminton event hits Đà Nẵng

HÀ NỘI — The Trần Local Foods Việt Nam International Badminton Series begins on Friday at Tiên Sơn Sports Palace in Đà Nẵng.

The event will feature more than  五00 athletes from South Korea, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and hosts Việt Nam.

Participants will compete in the men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles in the various age groups of under  一 五,  一 六- 三0,  三 一- 四0,  四 一- 五0,  五 一- 六0 and  六 一 and over.

The tournament, which has a total prize fund of VNĐ 五00 million (US$ 二 一, 七00), will end on Sunday. — VNS
